Biography
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I concluded my program’s final semester online at Concordia University and graduated in the spring convocation class of 2020 with distinction. I hold a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts for the Computation Arts Specialization program with a focus on game design.  The program has permitted me to explore interactive design using digital, electronic and other mediums.  Prior to this, I had  retooled by completing the AEC program in 3d animation (2016) to participate in the growing Computation Arts industry here in Montreal.
Having lived through the beginning of the video gaming and the internet era since the 1980’s, I bring an uncommon vision and perspective to any situation.  Ironically, I have a keen interest in the vintage arts and crafts.  It may surprise you to know that I like to combine knitting, quilting, sewing and watercolour painting with technology to create a work with a unique modern spin on a classic technique.

Artist Statement
My art is recognized immediately no matter the medium; watercolour, quilting, knitting, ceramics, photography, or some other technology.  The recipe is one scoop of “technology”, two scoops of “vintage”, and three scoops of “psychedelic”. In this time where the aesthetic of minimalism is valued, my art has a rebel streak of more-is-more.
To this point, the quilt titled “When Lions Hunt Zebras” combines cathedral windows and Irish chain quilt motifs.  But wait,  I reverse engineered the traditional hand-sewn-only cathedral design and created a quilt tool that easily turns it into a simple-to-sew modern version.  You will see vibrant colours and negative painting in my watercolours.
I have bartered knitted items such as a cat sweater or socks in exchange for digital art and electronics demolition.
To summarize, I like to take a forgotten item and re-invent it by adding a sprinkle of technology and a splash of colour.
